Tips for taking young children to Mass

At Our Lady of the Angels at the Franciscan Renewal Center, your children, Baptized into our Christian family, are welcome members at our Masses. It is okay if they are wiggly and make noises. That is normal. Plus, how would they ever learn how to participate in Mass, if they are not attending. So bring those kids to Mass with you! We can't wait to see you.

Mass Quiet Books are made of felt or material. Sometimes they are printed on paper. They can tell about what is going on at Mass or other Bible stories. They can be made or purchased.

Don't know where to start teaching your kids our Catholic faith at home?

Catholic Icing is a fantastic resource all of us in ministry have been using for a long time (despite the excessive ads.) The page I am sharing with you will help you, as parents, start off in small ways to live and pass on the faith to your kids! Check out Living the Liturgical Year at Home - How to get started. You will be surprised at how much you already are doing and how easy it is to add a little bit each day, month, and year.
