A Note from Fred:

As a Faith Formation team, Donna, Cheryl and I have spent the last few weeks "fleshing out" what exactly it is that we do here.  As a result, we have identified that at present moment, our department consists of five unique but not mutually exclusive ministries:  Whole Community Ministry, Sacrament Preparation Ministry, Family Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Young Adult Ministry.

In the weeks to come, I will devote this section of the newsletter to saying more about each of these ministries.

"Comprehensive" is the key word here.  We in Church leadership have learned that good faith formation does not use a "one size fits all" model.  Meeting people where they are and providing opportunities for spiritual growth in a multitude of ways has proven to be the best (or if you prefer, least inadequate) way of forming a community of faith.

We believe that these five ministries represent a great "container" for the important and life-giving work of Casa Faith Formation!
